Happy NEW YEAR !!!!!

It's already three minutes old and nothing bad has happened yet,  Thats a good sign.

I just had a short nap and dreamed it was a White New Year.  That hasn't happened..  not locally.  I see it is snowing in Manhattan.  I did that new year scene one year and NEVER AGAIN.  you couldn't breathe unless everyone exhaled at the same time.

three years later I was out out of the Air Force and once again in Manhattan but was a half a block away from Times square and about 20 floors above street level. Much better and safer up there. I had a new outlook on life and hope. It worked out that time and I hope it will this time.

Same to you, ol’ buddy. YOU KNOW? for the first time in many years I had forgotten that Frankie Laine bastard until you just reminded me of it. Was I sad that year? Why did the guy notice us? I know I was still sick of drinking too much at the Christmas Party at the office. I’ve never had that kind of an appetite again, Or maybe i was sick at missing out with Gloria. If only I had gone to Princeton she would have melted in my arms. (Maybe not but it’s a pleasant thought.) She was very upfront about it. “If you won’t go to Princeton you can’t be my lover.” That’s a curious coincidence because the first member of my family in the colonies to go to college was a graduate of Princeton. That was Dr. Ethan Brevard my great times 6 grand uncle.
